Hello, I'm Jen!
I am a proud mummy to two energetic young boys who fill my world with happiness every day!
My piano journey began aged 5, and I have been teaching piano for over 20 years. I have extensive experience working with young children, specialising in supporting those with additional needs which is invaluable to my teaching.
I hold a degree in Early Years and Disability Studies and am passionate about creating fun, nurturing and inclusive learning environments where every child feels safe, confident and encouraged.
Having previously run the Foundation Department at a successful piano school, I am now excited to begin my next chapter, continuing to support all my students in reaching their potential through music.

Melody Makers offers fun, engaging piano group lessons for primary-aged children, where learning together is at the heart of every session. Children develop piano skills by working together, listening to one another, and enjoying creative musical activities in a friendly, supportive group setting that builds confidence and a love of music.
Up to 5 students each group each with access to their own piano.
Fun, engaging 1:1 and paired music lessons, carefully tailored to suit each child’s individual learning style. My lessons focus on building confidence, technique, and enjoyment, while supporting clear progression through Trinity College London music exams (optional). Whether learning one-to-one or alongside a friend, each child is supported to develop musically at their own pace.
